The Show will be aired
on AT&T Broadband twice a week. New shows will run on Saturdays
at 6:00 PM. A rerun of the show will air on Sunday afternoons at
2:00 PM. The first show of the season will be on October 20, 2001.
The show is a King of
the Hill format. Two challengers bowl a one game match, loser receives
$50.00 & the winner moves on to bowl the current champion in
a two game match. The winner of that match becomes Champion and
wins $200.00 (losers receive $100.00). Champions remain in their
position until they are defeated. Once a champion is defeated they
must sit out at least one taping session. In addition to the normal
scoring, bowlers in the two game match will receive points for spares,
strikes and consecutive marks.
Spares = 50 points
Strikes = 100 points
3 consecutive marks (spares
or strikes) =100 points (each additional mark after three earns
100 points).
3 consecutive strikes
= 500 points, (each additional strike after three earns 500 points).
Match winner = 750 points
Points do not carry over
from one show to the next. The three bowlers who have the most points
at the end of the tapings will bowl in the championship final match.
The bowler with the most points will be the champion with the two
others bowling in the challenger match.
Viewer participation:
Each week the two challengers will pick home viewer postcards who
they will represent. The champion will pick a member of the taping
audience to represent. The winner will of each weeks show will receive
$25.00. Each week new names will be drawn.

The final show:prize
money will be the highest ever paid in Candlepin Bowling. The format
will remain the same as the other 36 weeks with the loser of the
challenger match receiving $1,000. The championship match runner
up will receive $2,500, with the winner getting $15,000.
The show will tape on
Sunday's starting at about 9:00 AM
Two bowlers from the
final roll off will appear on TV.
There will be nine regular
tapings with a tenth taping just for the final show. Each taping
will produce four TV shows.
